Definition

Indicator controlling the revaluation at retail of negative stocks for materials managed on a value-only basis.

Use

The following cases exist:

• Indicator is blank

  Negative stocks are revaluated at retail with the reversed +/- sign. If, for example, you mark down the price, this leads to an increase in the inventory value at retail.

• Indicator has the value "1"

  Negative stocks are revaluated at retail with no reversal in the +/- sign.

Notes

This indicator only has an affect on inventory managed on a value-only basis. For inventory managed on a quantity and value basis, negative stocks are always revaluated at retail with the reversed +/- sign.
