Definition
One sales price is (generally) uniquely fixed as the original price. This need not necessarily be the "first" one created, since the price can be corrected up to its "release". Furthermore, you might define a new price basis (original price) at a later data (in the following year, for example).
Markdown statistics are calculated on the basis of this price.
Example
- Original sales price net: $10.00
- 1. Markdown to $9.00 --> 10 %
- 2. Markdown to $6.00 --> 40 % (on the basis of $10.00)
