Definition
First sales price created for a material.
Use
When evaluating sales statistics, it is sometimes important to know what the sales volume would have been for materials that have been marked down if they had been sold at the original sales price. In this case, if materials have been marked down then the original sales price is used in POS interface - inbound processing when the update is made in the LIS.
Example
Original sales price $3.00
Sales --> 100 pieces at $3.00 = $300
Sales price change $2.00
Sales --> 100 pieces at $2.00 = $200
with original sales price $300
Difference $100
