Documentation
Use
If a material is offered to a customer in combination with other materials (an assortment of nuts and bolts offered by a wholesaler to a retailer, for example), the quantity of this material can be defined here in sales units. (This unit must also be specified in the module item.)
This means that you can create whole collections of materials in the system, such as:
- Assortment of nuts and bolts
- 1 box M3 x 4 mm 3 boxes M3 x 6 mm .....
- 6 pieces M20 x 150 mm .....
Using the quantities (and the existing sales prices), you can therefore determine the gross revenue from a module such as the one above (if all the materials in the module are sold together, with a sales value of $500 from a delivered price of $300, the gross revenue is $200). This gross revenue can be used as a marketing instrument in a specific quotation.
