Definition

This date marks the end of an interval during which the conditions for a particular number of condition types remain the same.

Use

In various SAP Retail applications, such as, for example, the Pricing overview of Retail Pricing, or the POS outbound function, the changes in conditions for particular condition types are analyzed for an externally-prescribed interval.

The pricing overview screen shows the condition types for standard and promotion sales prices that have been defined using the control parameters in the sales price calculation function. For POS outbound functions, the condition types are determined using the condition type group of the POS outbound profile.

The prescribed interval is divided up into sub-intervals during which the conditions for all the condition types observed do not change.

You should note that, in the pricing overview, additional changes to the pricing table are used as change criteria, whereas this is not the case in the POS outbound function.

The date entered here marks the end of a sub-interval. The end date for a condition's validity period may be different from this date. For the last sub-interval that either falls within the validity period or extends beyond the end date of this interval, the end of the validity period for the relevant condition is used.
