Definition
Plant that is automatically assigned as a reference plant for sales price calculations in the market-basket price calculation function of Pricing.
Use
The explicit reference plant is assigned to all other selected plants as a reference plant for sales price calculations.
As you must also enter a distribution chain when assigning a reference plant, enter the distribution chain maintained in the master data of the explicit reference plant.
Dependencies
The explicit reference plant must be included in the selection of plants.
For reasons of consistency where the assignment of reference plants is concerned, entering an explicit reference plant at the same time as setting the indicator for the default assignment of reference plants is not allowed.
Also, you may not enter an explicit reference plant if the indicator foradopting reference plant relationships from a reference market-basket price calculation is set and if you have specified a reference market-basket price calculation and selected further plants.
