Definition
Indicates that the system should assign reference plants for sales price calculations automatically when performing market-basket price calculations.
Use
You can set the indicator only when creating a market-basket price calculation.
The automatic assignment of reference plants is different for the selection of distribution chains and the selection of plant groups:
- Selection of distribution chains: those plants in each distribution chain selected that have not been specifically selected are assigned the reference plant for the distribution chain (maintained in Customizing for Pricing). The reference plant itself (if it has also been selected) is not assigned a reference plant.
- Selection of plant groups: the first plant in a plant group assumes the role of the reference plant.
Dependencies
In cases where plant groups overlap, you must assign those plants that appear in more than one plant group to a single plant group. This avoids inconsistencies in sales price calculations.
This indicator has no significance if you want to activate sales prices at price list or distribution chain level.
Notes
Setting the indicator and simultaneously entering an explicit reference plant is not permitted, for reasons of consistency of reference plant assignments.
By the same token, you may not set the indicator at the same time as the indicator for adopting reference plant relationships from a reference market-basket price calculation is set if a reference market-basket calculation has been entered and further plants have been selected.
