Definition

Profile or umbrella term for Customizing settings for a particular Customizing object.

Use

By assigning schemas to a store, you define the character and the degree of autonomy of a store. By defining different schemas, you can therefore create different stores with different features and differing degrees of autonomy.

• Settings on similar subjects for an IAC are grouped together in profiles. The customizing schema is the key to the profile. Different combinations of settings can be stored in different schemas.
• A number of selection options are displayed in a select box. The grouping schema is the umbrella term for the selection options. You can use different schemas to display different selection options or vary the degree of detail of the selection options.
