Definition

Indicator that controls the deletion (marking for reorganization) of change pointers.

Use

The system creates a log of all the changes that have been made to the condition records using change pointers. Based on these change pointers, the system creates a worklist for the subsequent generation of pricing documents.

You can use this indicator to control whether the change pointers that are relevant for this worklist should be marked as "completed" and thus flagged for reorganization (deletion) at a later date.

Relevant change pointers are those that belong to conditions that are listed in Customizing for Pricing under "Subsequent Index Compilation for Sales Prices". This indicator is not significant for change pointers that are not relevant for this worklist.

Dependencies

Note that change pointers are also used in further processing in other applications, such as the pricing worklist function. You should therefore only set this indicator if the change pointers that are relevant for this program are not required by other applications.

Example

If, in the Customizing table, only the condition types for sales prices to consumers are listed, you can set this indicator. You should not set the indicator, however, if a condition type stands for the warehouse transfer price for a distribution center, for example.
