Definition

You can manually enter the acquisition year of the asset per depreciation area in this field.

While the acquisition period in the general part of the master record automatically uses the fiscal year of the first acquisition posting, you can change this field during master data maintenance. Managing this value per depreciation area means that this value is still available after a transfer between affiliated companies (for example, for group accounting).

If this field is still blank at the time of the initial acquisition posting, the system automatically enters the year from the acquisition period in the general part of the master record.
