Definition
Indicates the type of special stock.
Use
If certain stocks of a material (for example, consignment stocks) need to be managed separately, the type of stock is indicated.
In store physical inventory, the characteristics "No Special Stock" , "Returnable Transport Packaging", "Vendor Consignment" and "Sales Order Stock" are supported.
The special stock indicator can be empty during inbound processing of the count dates. If the field is empty, this means "No Special Stock".
During POS interface outbound processing of the physical inventory documents, the special stock indicator given in the physical inventory document is entered.
Dependencies
For the characteristics "Returnable Transport Packaging" and "Vendor Consignment", the field is only useful together with the field LIFNR on line item level.
For the characteristic "Sales Order Stock", the sales order and the sales order item belonging to it are entered in the item segment E1WVINI. (Fields SALES_ORDER, SALES_ORDER_ITEM)
Note
The characteristic "Sales Order Stock" is supported as of Release 4.70 by the Enterprise Add-On 1.0A.
