Definition
Alphanumeric key uniquely identifying the document.
The physical inventory document is the central element of physical inventory management. It is used for the following purposes:
- to plan and carry out the physical inventory
- to enter the actual count data
- to post the differences
If all the items in the physical inventory document are counted and posted, the document can be archived.
Use
During inbound processing of the actual count dates, the inventory document number is used for identifying the physical inventory document.
Enter the document number here when downloading the physical inventory documents.
System Response
This field may be empty when uploading the actual count dates. If the document number is not specified, the system determines all the relevant physical inventory documents automatically.
Dependencies
The field is only useful if the field GJAHR (fiscal year) is also filled.
Note
You need to specify the inventory document number with ten characters, leading zeros and left justification.
