Definition

Indicator with which you distinguish between different types of delivery.

Use

The default delivery type determines how the system processes a delivery. Using the default delivery type the corresponding delivery document is created in the store order. Since it is a delivery document without reference to a preceding document, you should choose a delivery type without reference from the SD delivery types. The following types are suitable:

• 'underdelivery'
  for delivery without reference which a goods receipt should be created for
• 'delivery without reference'
  for delivery without reference which no goods receipt should be created for

If the entry is missing, choose 'underdelivery' as a delivery type.

Notes

This setting is only used at plant or customer level, not at store or material group level.
