'Real Estate Management in Controlling Area Active' indicator

The indicator defines whether account assignment to Real Estate objects is possible.

The indicator is checked in the following transactions:

  1. Postings in Financial Accounting (manual or automatic)
  2. Posting of statistical key figures
  3. Cost center assessment
  4. CO transfer postings
  5. CO settlement
  6. Activity allocation
  7. Cost/revenue planning

Example

If this indicator is not set, you cannot assign accounts to any Real Estate objects in CO when posting documents in Financial Accounting. Your entry will be rejected, and you will receive an error message telling you to activate Real Estate for the specified controlling area and fiscal year.
