Dependencies

You normally enter the construction year as a four figure number.

For a rent adjustment according to the representative list of rents you must enter the full date (MM/DD/YYYY) if the year of construction is the same as the start or end date of one of the representative list of rents building age categories. The system automatically checks this, and requires a full date in each case.

When you adjust the rent for privately financed accommodation, the construction year serves as the key date for determining the rent cap if the date for initial usage is not maintained for the rental unit.
