Use
You use the security type to control the assignment of borrower's note loans to the various statutory reporting categories in the Customizing settings for Loans Management, in the IMG activity Define Borrower's Note Types .
Dependencies
The security type is an independent classification of the borrower's note loan for reporting purposes and should not be confused with the loan type.
Example
Registered mortgage bonds or borrower's notes are examples of possible security types.
