Documentation
Definition
Determines level of detail of the log.
Use
Only messages with a priority equal to or higher than this value are logged.
Possible values:
1 : Log header
Adjustment run ID, result statistics
2 : + errors
3 : + warnings
4 : + messages (mode-specific)
Messages are issued if a selected rental agreement or rental unit was not adjusted but no error occurred.
They are issued as level 4 if they could only occur in the selected adjustment mode (for "index adjustment" mode, the message that the index adjustment was lower than the minimum value defined in the agreement).
5 : + messages (general)
Messages of level 5 describe general reasons for problems, for instance, the valid-from date was outside the rental agreement term.
6 : + TRACE (documentation of calculations)
On level 6 (TRACE) all of the adjustment calculations are documented (this function is currently not available for all adjustment modes). To keep data volumes down, this level is only activated for checking individual adjustments, and is not used for mass processing.
Notes
In order to keep the log concise, there are no success messages, meaning that it only receives an entry in the event of a failed adjustment (except on level 6) However, if the adjustment was completed successfully, an adjustment record for the agreement or the rental unit is generated and shown on the list of results.
