Documentation
Definition
This internal stock indicator assigns capital reserve (external stock indicator) or a valuation area (real estate management) to restricted assets or remaining unencumbered assets.
- Restricted assets
The premium reserve fund values or remaining restricted assets are, for example, managed here.
In the real estate management area, a valuation area for managing accepted values which can (but must not) deviate from the book value, must additionally be assigned to the restricted assets.
- Remaining unencumbered assets
In general, exactly one characteristic of the external stock indicator is managed as the indicator for remaining unencumbered assets. Additional values can, however, be assigned to the remaining unencumbered assets.
Real estate management: A valuation area must also be assigned to the internal stock indicator for the remaining unemcumbered assets. The values of the remaining unencumbered assets are managed here. This can either be the book value of an asset or the value-based portion of an asset that may not be managed in the capital reserve of the restricted assets.
