Definition
The dunning area represents an organizational unit that is responsible for dunning. The dunning areas represent a subdivision of the company code.
Use
If different responsibilities or different dunning procedures exist within a company code, corresponding dunning areas can be created.
All dunning notices are issued separately according to dunning areas, if necessary with different dunning procedures.
Dependencies
The dunning area must be noted in the line items. If documents are transferred from upstream activities (invoicing), the dunning area can be derived from entries such as the division or sales area if necessary.

Use
If you define a dunning area in the lease-out, it is copied to the documents in the debit position. Any change made to the dunning area in the lease-out does not (!) mean a change in the documents already posted.
