Definition

If you set this indicator, the decreases in rent resulting from the adjustment run are initially apportioned to the rent reserves and only when these are exhausted, are they apportioned to the rent.

Example

The present rent is 1000 SFr, the rent reserve is 100 SFr. On the basis of the reduction in the mortgage loan rate, the program determines that the rent could be reducted by 150 SFr.

If the indicator is not set, the system determines the new rent to be 850 SFr. Depending on whether the rent reserve should be adjusted or not, it remains unchanged at 100 SFr or is adjusted to 85 SFr.

If however the indicator is set, the new rent reserve is set to 0 and the remaining 50 SFr are deducted from the rent so that the new rent is 950 SFr.
