Normally, (if the indicator is not set) condition items are automatically deleted when you press the save button if no values have been entered and if all values match the default entries made in Customizing.
You can prevent the condition items from being deleted automatically if you set the indicator 'Save conditions identical to default values?' for the relevant condition type.

If, for instance, you want to save a condition on the rental agreement although it has the value 0, you may only do so if this indicator is set.
