Definition

Determines how the adjustment frequency is interpreted by the rent adjustment.

Use

Indicator is not set:

The contract can only be adjusted on certain dates that are calculated using the date of the first adjustment and the adjustment frequency.

Indicator is set:

The adjustment frequency is only interpreted as a minimum interval. The adjustment is carried out:

• On the valid-from date indicated in the rent adjustment
• In the event that at least the duration of the adjustment frequency has expired since the last adjustment

Notes

In both cases, only that index level is read for the adjustment date calculated which is used for the calculation of the new rent. The actual contract change is carried out on the adjustment date plus the adjustment delay period.
