Definition

Letters are not archived for the correspondence function being executed.

Example

You want to create letters for service charge settlement, but do not want the letters to be optically archived. You set this indicator. The letters can be stored in the spool file but are not saved in the archive.

Caution

Set this indicator only if you are certain that you want a 'test print,' since it is not possible to later automatically archive the letters that were stored in the spool file. If you needed to archive the letters later, you would have to discard the spool file and repeat the correspondence run with archiving.
