Use
The date from when the adjustment type is effective, is entered here for adjustment types that are not valid for the entire contract period. If no date has been entered, the adjustment type is valid from rental start.
If the adjustment type is "sales-based rent" for the lease-out adjustment mode, then this date does not have any effect.

Specifies the validity period of the adjustment data in conjunction with the valid to date.
Use
If you leave this field blank, the system fills it with the rental start date of the contract.
If you want to change the basis of the current condition type (determine index data for a new valid-from date), enter the new date in the Adj.val.from field and choose New Effectivity. Overview gives you all the adjustment data with time-dependent settings to choose from.
