Rent adjustment according to points:
Points that are assigned to this fixtures and fittings characteristic. The number of points for a fixtures and fittings characteristic is the product of the number of points defined in Customizing for the characteristic multiplied by the number of points assigned for this characteristic in the object.
You can maintain the number of points for each object according to the following prerequisites:
- The settings in Customizing must allow a number of points to be defined for the object. Otherwise the number of points is automatically determined from the value defined for this characteristic in the representative list of rents if you identify the characteristic as "belonging to the object".
- The characteristic is not allowed to be linked to an area. Characteristics linked to an area are given the number of points equal to the area amount of the corresponding area type.
The number of points for the characteristic is calculated using the number of points specified here and the number of points defined for the characteristic in the representative list of rents as follows:
- The number of points specified here is multiplied with the number of points defined in the representative list of rents for the characteristic.
- If the number of points defined in the representative list of rents is equal to zero, the number of points defined for the object is used.
If the resulting number of points is not within the maximum and minimum limits for the characteristic, the maximum or minimum number of points is used instead of the calculated number of points.
