Definition

Indicates whether the system automatically carries out delivery scheduling.

Use

When you specify delivery scheduling, the system automatically determines

• The pick/pack time and
• The loading time

for each schedule line, according to shipping point from which an item is shipped. The system uses the pick/pack time and the loading time to help determine the material availability date and the loading date respectively.

Note

For each shipping point, the system can

• Propose defaults for the pick/pack time and loading time, or
• Determine more precise times by taking other factors into account (for example: route, loading group, and weight group)
