Use
Using this function you can store the external procurement data from Long-Term Planning as planning data in the Purchasing Information System. For this purpose, you must specify a planning version of the purchasing information structure.
The planning version from the Purchasing Information System is automatically assigned to the planning scenario when the data is first transferred. The planning version can be displayed in the planning scenario together with the date of the last data transfer.
Thus, the planning version is useful for comparing actual data from the Purchasing Information System with planning data from Long-Term Planning.
Procedure
If you do not enter a planning version, the system uses the number of the planning scenario as the planning version.
Examples
Dependencies
If the number of the planning scenario already exists as a planning version number of the purchasing information structure, you must enter a different version number here, that is, one that does not yet exist.
Supplementary Documentation - VRSIO 0007
Procedure
If you are copying key figures from one information structure to another, enter here a planning version of the target information structure.
