Documentation
Use
Specifies which standard value in the operation is interpreted as the setup standard value.
Dependencies
You can specify for every individual setup transition which standard value is considered the setup standard value in the following operation.
If a setup transition is not maintained in the setup matrix then you can specify in the control profile which standard value is to be interpreted as the setup standard value.
Within the system the standard value number "1" is defined both in the control profile as well as for a setup transition in the setup matrix.
Note
The numbering of the standard values in the possible entries corresponds to the numbering of the parameters in the standard value key. Standard value keys are defined in Customizing for the work center.

Use
This information is used by the planning functions during capacity leveling with the graphical planning board. These following functions take into account the fact that the standard setup time for an operation depends on the setup status of a work center:
- Automatic setup time adjustment
- Planning of sequences with minimal setup time (setup time optimization)
- Dispatch at the best possible time for setup
In the setup matrix you save setup values for operations as a function of the setup status of the work center. For every setup transition, that is for every possible sequence of two consecutive operations, a value is stored for the setup standard value in the subsequent operation.
Dependencies
In the setup matrix you can specify the setup standard value in the successive operation by using the standard value number.
The standard value number that you enter in the control profile is only taken into account, if setup transitions have not been entered in the setup matrix.
Internally the system uses the standard value number "1" as a default, both in the control profile and for a setup transition in the setup matrix.
Note
- Standard value key
The numbering of standard values in the input help cooresponds to the numbering of the parameters in the standard value key. You define the standard value key in Customizing.
- Field not relevant for PP-PI
