Definition
Price at which the material was valuated when the period was last closed. This is either the moving average price in the previous period or, if you activated the material ledger for the material, the periodic unit price in the previous period.
Procedure
The value is updated automatically by the closing programs and carried forward to the current period.
In the case of postings to the previous period, the system updates this value in accordance with the valuation criteria for the previous period.
