Definition

You can manually enter the acquisition period of the asset for each depreciation area in this field.

While the acquisition period in the first screen of the general part of the asset master record automatically uses the period of the first acquisition posting, this field can be changed during asset master data maintenance. The management per depreciation area means that this value is also still available after a transfer between affiliated companies (for example for group accounting).

If this field is still blank at the time of the first acquisition posting, the system automatically enters the period of the acquisition period in the general part of the master record.
