Definition

Set this indicator is you don't want the system to determine the baseline date from the current reference date (for a header rule these would be the header dates and for an item rule, the item dates) but explicitly from the header dates.

Example

There are 2 items in a contract with billing plans. However the contract items have differing contract start or end dates. In order to ensure that the billing plans have the same start and end dates, you can define the date rule so that it refers to the header date. This means that the start and end date for the item-date rule will always be determined from the header date in the document.
