Procedure
Select this field if the system is to display this grouping as the default. During the creation of a material master for material with a particular export control class in the export control class column, the system uses this as the default.
Use
You can define various groupings for a material or an export control class. It is reasonable to enter the grouping most frequently used as default grouping. You can overwrite this default in the material master.
Example
Two PCs having the same export control class and being technically identical except for the processor speed can be assigned to different groupings because they are subject to different export regulations.
You are exporting a considerably larger number of PCs with 30 MHz so that you define B1 as default grouping. If you create a material master for a PC with 60 MHz, you only have to overwrite the default grouping with B2.
