Definition
Date from which the sales conditions to be created in sales price calculation should be valid (validity start date).
Use
The validity start date is entered on the selection screen of the sales price calculation or set in calling applications (integrated article maintenance, retail promotion). The validity start date can be changed in the pricing table. When calling it from other applications, for example, from pricing, it may be the case that this kind of interactive change is not possible, as the validity of the conditions is determined in the calling applications.
Sales conditions are flagged in the control for data backup using the application V.
Dependencies
A date must also be specified for the validity end date of the sales conditions.
You can set a different validity start date and a different validity end date for the purchasing conditions when you are calling from other applications.
You can make a setting in Customizing for the date that should be defaulted as the validity start date for sales price calculation in pricing under General Parameters for Pricing.
