Definition
A view, lock object or matchcode object based on one or more base tables.
View fields or matchcode and lock object fields as well as selection conditions may only refer to fields of the base tables.
In database views, several base tables are linked with freely definable join conditions. For all other views they are defined with matchcodes and lock objects with foreign key relationships between the tables.
