Indicates a key for identification of a transaction/event (for example, GR for goods receipt for purchase order).

The key is derived from the transaction.

Use

Via the transaction/event type, you can define the document retention period dependent on the transaction/event. For example, you can control that material documents for inventory differences (trans./ev. type WI) are resident in the system for a longer period than goods receipt documents (Trans./ev. type WE).

Enter ## if the retention period is to apply to all transaction/ event types.
