Definition
This field is used for checking and converting the Status of insured field on the healthcare smart card. Furthermore, this field is required for indicating the type of coverage of a patient when the BDT record for panel physician association billing is created.
When maintaining this field, you should ensure that the assignments are correct (example: dependent coverage with member indicator -> BDT status of insured = 3 (family)).
