Documentation
Using key figures for analysis purposes
This key figure provides you with an overview of the documents created by the worklist runs.
You can use them to recognize times when the system is under pressure and how to optimize the run. If the function often appears at times when the system is not performing well, it will also have an adverse effect on the run times of other activities being used at the same time.
As well as informing you how often the function was used and when, it also indicates how efficient the individual runs are.
Structure and use of detailed displays
This figure shows when the documents were created on different days and at different times. You can use it to see how many documents were created during the day at the same time as when functions were being used online.
For example
Day : 25.11.97
Total : 1500
0 - 6 : 100
6 - 8 : 0
8 - 10 : 200
10 - 12 : 300
12 - 14 : 0
14 - 16 : 400
16 - 18 : 300
18 - 20 : 100
20 - 24 : 100
In this example, you can see that on 25.11.97 a total of 1500 documents were created. 100 documents were created between 0:00 to 6:00 and again between 20:00 to 24:00 but 1300 documents were created during the day at the same time as other system activities. This could have had a considerably negative affect on performance while during the night far more resources would have been free.
How to optimize performance
In order to have optimal system performance during the day, as many documents as possible should be created outside the main times, for example, during the night.
