Documentation
Use of the key figure for analysis purposes
This key figure gives an overview of the documents created in the work list runs.
These can be used to recognize load cycles and optimization potentials. If this function occurs when there is a high burden on the system, this could affect the runtime of other parallel activities.
It is important to know when the function is carried out and how often. The efficiency of the individual runs is another important point.
Structure and use of detail displays
This key figure shows the distribution of the created documents on different days and at different times of the day. The aim is to recognize how many documents are created in a day parallel to online processing.
Example
Day : 25.11.97
Total : 1500
0 - 6 : 100
6 - 8 : 0
8 - 10 : 200
10 - 12 : 300
12 - 14 : 0
14 - 16 : 400
16 - 18 : 300
18 - 20 : 100
20 - 24 : 100
In this example you can see that on the 25.11.97 a total of 1500 documents were created. From 0:00 to 6:00 and 20:00 to 24:00 respectively 100 documents were created. However 1300 documents were created during the day parallel to other system activities. This can cause considerable strain on the system, although at night there are sufficient resources available.
Notes for optimization
To be able to use the system during the day, document creation should be carried out if possible outside of the main processing times, for example, during the night.
