Indicator determining whether the numbers of the variants of a generic material are assigned internally during data transfer.

Use

• If the indicator is set, the system assigns a number to the variant internally.
• If the indicator is not set, the system creates the variant with the material number transferred.

This indicator can be set only for data transfer. In the case of distribution by ALE, the indicator is not set since a material is always created in the target system with the number from the source system.
