Definition

Indicator that defines how the system behaves when the date falls before the default validity start.

Use

The indicator has three settings:

  1. '_': the date can fall before the default validity start.
  2. 'W': the system issues a warning message if the date falls before the default validity start. The date may, however, still fall before the default validity start.
  3. 'E': the system issues an error message when the date falls before the default validity start. The date therefore cannot fall before the default validity start.

You set the indicator in Customizing under General Parameters for Pricing in the group box "Validity start in sales price calculation".
