Definition

This indicator shows you whether change management is active for the decentralized Warehouse Management System .

If change management is active, you can subsequently change certain data in the delivery, after the delivery is distributed from the central system to the decentralized WMS. You can make these changes in both the central and decentralized systems. The interface between the systems makes a subsequent change in the partner system for the following delivery data that is planned for a comparison:

  • Changes to inbound delivery header data
    • Gross and net weight
    • Volume
    • Delivery date
    • Door
    • Delete delivery (only using interface)
    • External identification
  • changes to inbound delivery item data
    • Gross and net weight
    • Volume
    • Shelf life expiration date
    • Delivery quantity
    • Delete delivery item (only using interface)
  • Changes to outbound delivery header data
    • Gross and net weight
    • Volume

Dependencies

Change management is deactivated again in certain circumstances:

  • In the decentralized system a subsequent outbound delivery split was performed for the document.
  • The central system was partially not available and the document was changed in the decentralized system during this period of non-availability.
