Definition
Gives the quantity of the sub-item for an item. The sum of all sub-item quantities is the item quantity.
Procedure
If sub-items are maintained for an item:
- the item quantity can no longer be changed directly
- the item quantity can only be corrected by changing the sub-item quantities.
