Definition

Controls whether data that is already in the target version is

  • Reset and overwritten, or
  • Is not changed

Use

  • Reset and overwrite:

    The system resets all data in the target version for the corresponding business transaction, and overwrites it using data in the template version.

  • Do not change:

    The system checks whether the target version object already contains data for the corresponding business transaction. This data is not overwritten.

    If you ever reset any data to 0 in the target version, then the database still contains a data record whose value is 0. The SAP system recognizes this data record and does not overwrite it either.
