Definition

You use this indicator to define that you do not use the functions of the supplementary business volume update in Subsequent Settlement in the case of updates carried out at the time of the purchase order.

Use

If you change purchase orders and delivery schedules, you may need to update the changes in the business volume. A prerequisite for this is that the arrangement time in question defines updating at the time of the purchase order.

The updating of the changes may also need to take account of condition records that were entered subsequently, i.e. condition records that do not exist in the document condition, but for which the business volume update has already been carried out using the relevant function.

If you select this indicator, parts of the program that are usually executed when you save the above-mentioned documents are omitted. This generally improves performance. However, there is the risk that subsequent settlement functions may not be executed as a result of incorrect settings.

You can select this indicator if you only use condition types that are independent of business volume.
