Definition
Set this indicator if the following apply:
- You are using consistent planning.
- You want to see the proportional factors that result from this calculation in the planning hierarchy.
The proportional factors are then displayed at the bottom level of the planning hierarchy. If required, you can change them here. The sum of the proportional factors for all nodes at the bottom level of the planning hierarchy is 100%. At all other levels, the proportional factor for each characteristic value in the planning hierarchy is displayed as 100%.
If you do not set this indicator, the proportional factors that result from this calculation are stored internally but are not visible in the planning hierarchy.
Whether or not you set this indicator, the proportional factors are visible in the planning table, where the system uses them to disaggregate planning data the first time you enter it. (Otherwise, disaggregation is based on existing planned data, unless you reapply the constant proportional factors with Edit -> Disaggregate line.)
If you use level-by-level planning, you do not need to set this indicator. Following this calculation, the proportional factors will always be shown in the planning hierarchy. However, they will be displayed between each level rather than just at the bottom level.
