Definition
The balance carryforward corresponds to the closing balance of the previous fiscal year.
At the start of the new fiscal year, the balance carryforward is calculated and saved by the balance carryforward program. If postings are subsequently made in the prior fiscal year, the balance carryforward is updated automatically.
