Definition
The balance carried forward corresponds to the closing balance of the previous fiscal year.
At the beginning of the new fiscal year, the balance carried forward is calculated and stored by the balance carried forward program. For additional postings in the previous fiscal year, the balance carried forward is updated automatically.
