Definition

Indicates how a stock transfer takes place from the DC to plants.

Use

The following options exist for stock to be transfered from a DC to a plant or between plants:

  • Using transfer postings in Inventory Management

    Only material documents are created. This can be done in one of two ways:

    • one-step procedure
    • two-step procedure

  • Using stock transport orders
    • with a goods issue posting in Inventory Management
    • with a goods issue posting in SD using a replenishment delivery

  • Transferring stock using an instant delivery note
