Definition

Denominator of the quotient, which specifies the ratio
quantity unit 1 (ME1) : quantity unit 2 (ME2).

Use

To convert a quantity expressed in unit of measure 1 into a quantity expressed in unit of measure 2, the system requires a quotient:

Quantity in unit 2 x quotient = quantity in unit 1

Procedure

Enter which quantity in unit 2 (denominator) corresponds to which quantity in unit 1 (numerator).

Example

Unit of measure 2 is kilogram (kg). Unit of measure 1 is piece (pc). 5 kg correspond to 3 pc.

5 kg = 3 PC => 1 kg = 3/5 PC

Thus in this case the quotient is 3/5 (the numerator is 3 and the denominator is 5).
