Definition

This indicator is used to determine which BOMs contain the object
(such as material, document, class) as a BOM item using a class item (indirectly).

Use

The system lists all BOMs in which the object was entered as a component using a class item (indirectly).

  • From this list of BOMs, you can display the class component. Place the cursor on the line containing the item you require, and choose Item data from the Environment menu.
  • From the General data item screen of the class item, you can display the objects assigned to the class. Choose Display assignments from the Environment menu.

  • To produce the where-used list, you have to select at least one indicator in the Type dataset.
  • If you set this indicator, you see the field Cl (object using class). This field contains an indicator against each BOM where the object was entered using a class item.
